Ashton Graduation | Superstition Mountain Graduation Session

It was such a blast to meet Ashton! She wanted graduation photos because she is graduating medical school in a few weeks! Wow, what an accomplishment. She’s going to be a doctor! Not just any doctor, but she wants to go into head and neck surgery. Wow, a surgeon, so amazing!

Ashton chose one of my favorite locations, Superstition Mountain. She told me that at the end of medical school, the students get matched with where they’ll be going for residency and spending the next couple of years. She was very excited about her match to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. She’s from Arizona so she wanted the mountains! Soon she’ll be moving to a very different climate and off to a new adventure! She and her husband are excited for this next chapter in their lives.

Ashton had two gorgeous dresses, a dark navy and a white one. Her cap and gown we threw on a couple of times when the location called for it! We both were trying to figure out how the cape on the back worked and was supposed to look! I think we did it right. 🙂

Lastly, I love that she brought champagne to do some celebration shots. She shook is and let it spray! That was fun and we got some amazing shots! We amazingly avoided getting soaked. 🙂

Thanks again for having me as your Arizona graduation photographer! I’d love to see you again when you come home to visit and good luck in your residency! You’re going to do amazing things.
