One Take Photography is back! | Gilbert, Arizona Photographer

My family under a beautiful arch of vines.

Oh my, so I haven’t blogged a single session for over 4 years. Sorry! I didn’t think that Arizona photography blogs did anything for my website anymore, but I guess I was wrong. I’m going to try and catch up and post all the sessions from the past 4 years (yikes!) and also add a different kind of content. I hope you like it!

For this post, I want to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit more about me. As you know from my About Me page, I’m a mom of three girls. They are so big now! I have an 8th, 6th and 3rd grader. Wow! I know what it feels like when kids grow up too fast! Weren’t they tiny like yesterday? This is one of my favorite parts about being a family photographer, I love to see the kids come back every year or few years and I get to see how they’ve grown! These past couple of years, I’ve had clients I’ve known for years come back for a senior session for their child. I can’t believe these kids have grown up so much!

Anyway, back to me. 🙂 One thing not everyone knows about me is that I’m a ballroom dancer. I LOVE it and it makes me so happy! I started back in college and now I do it as an adult. It’s so much fun! I even compete and so the whole fancy, sparkly dress thing. It’s probably hard to imagine when you’ve only seen me jumping around acting silly to get your kiddos to smile!

My girls and I love nature. We love to hike, visit the trees and lakes, see sunsets, visit mountains and beaches and just being outside. I love anything chocolate, watching movies with friends and family and even just a good chat.

Me and a gorgeous blue lake and green pine trees.

The last thing I’d like to share is that I’ve been getting into food photography as well. Now, I still love portraits and will still do them, but I’m also going to be adding product and food photography! So, if you have a business in need of any of these things, I can help you out. 🙂

Well, that’s just a little bit more about me. Stayed tuned for all my catch up work from these past couple years and some new types of content as well. See you next time!
