What are Mini Sessions? | Gilbert, Arizona Photographer

Well, it’s that time of year again when I run my mini sessions. Some of you might be thinking, what are those? What makes them so different and how do they work? I’m here to tell you all about them!

Twice a year I run special mini sessions, my spring ones and fall ones. These sessions are short and sweet! Perfect for a young family with short attention spans, for people that just want a few good photos or a tight budget. They are only 20 minutes long and provide about 20-25 images! I always do the entire family together, the kiddos together and separately and then always a few fun shots! I love to capture families’ personalities. I try to get people to laugh and be silly!

Also, one of the best things about these mini sessions, they are in gorgeous weather. In the fall when it’s cooled down and in the spring before it gets too warm. It’s a great time to take family photos! I run multiple mini session days and each is held in a different location. So you can choose which background you’d like! Sometimes it’s nature, sometimes it’s a downtown. There are so many gorgeous places to go!

Feel free to ask as many questions as you’d like before your photo shoot. If you want more photos from the location, I got you and can show more examples! Once we’re there at your shoot, I always ask for your preferences on what are your favorite spots at the location. Then I make sure we get those. Also, if there’s ever a breakdown you’re not comfortable with, just tell me, no worries! Or if there are specific shots you’d like to get, just let me know. 🙂
