Stephanie & Ivan | Superstition Mountain Engagement Session

These beautiful people just got married on Sunday! It was a gorgeous wedding and there were many smiles and happy tears. This engagement session back in January 2025 was one of my favorite sessions ever! These two, wow, just wow. Stephanie and Ivan and are not just adorable together, they are super sweet and you can tell they are so in love.

Stephanie and Ivan’s engagement session was at Superstition Mountain in Arizona. It’s an amazingly gorgeous mountain! It was a beautiful day and we had a great time. I always love doing engagement sessions because it helps me get to know my wedding clients better. Then when the wedding day comes, I feel it’s easier to capture them since I know them! And to make sure the groom smiles! 🙂

These two are such wonderful people, both coming into this relationship with beautiful children and creating a blended family. They both have been through a lot and I could tell they were helping heal each other and that they found their person!

Stephanie started in a more formal, fitting deep green dress and Ivan in black pants and a deep teal shirt. Then their outfit change seemed a little more casual with her in a cute white dress and Ivan in jeans and a plaid shirt. I always encourage an outfit change to show more of your personality! And it’s just fun and gives more variety in your photos.
