Stephanie & Ivan Wedding | Colby Falls, Gilbert AZ

These two beautiful humans are now married! Their wedding was fabulous, beautiful and such a joy to capture. Stephanie and Ivan are such sweethearts and you can tell they are so in love. There were many happy tears and laughter during this gorgeous wedding.

Stephanie and Ivan both have beautiful children making them now a wonderful blended family. These kids are so lucky to have these two! There is so much love and I could see it throughout the day. One of my favorite parts was during the ceremony when the kids were walking down the aisle. Ivan’s daughter was crying as she was dropping her flower petals, it was so sweet! He was tearing up as well. This was a day they all had been waiting for. After the ceremony, his oldest son was also emotional. I haven’t seen kids at a wedding show this kind of emotion when a parent got remarried. It was so sweet and made me tear up!

After the beautiful ceremony, we started the family photos. I always love finally seeing how everyone is connected and who’s who. They were a fun group!

The sun was setting, so after we were done, I took Ivan and Stephanie over to the waterfall to start our couple shots. Since we didn’t have a lot of time, we decided to stay at Colby Falls and just use the areas there for photos. The falls are gorgeous and we got some great shots there. These two are so easy to photograph!

Now it was time for the party and boy did these two know how to throw one! They began with a grand entrance, complete with fireworks when they walked in! Then they went into their first dance as husband and wife. It was a beautiful moment.

More highlights from the night were the money dance and the glow sticks! The money dance is always entertaining, seeing lots of guests dance with the bride or groom while attaching money to their clothes. The light up glow sticks were a hit, especially with the kiddos. Also, Ivan and Stephanie thew out T-shirts to their crowd like they do in at a basketball game or something. I haven’t see that one before!

It was a great night! Congrats Stephanie and Ivan on your amazing wedding day and thanks for choosing me to be your Gilbert wedding photographer! I had a blast being your wedding photographer and I hope to see you for family photos in the future!
