Chelsea and Riker emerged with huge smiles from the Timpanogos Temple on a beautiful, September day. It was a perfect day and the temple wasn’t crowded with brides either, so we had the whole place to ourselves for their American Fork Wedding session. The downside was that the temple was still undergoing renovations on the outside and the entire front and spire were covered in red scaffolding. Yuck! There was no way to shoot around it to get the pretty temple, so we decided we’d come back to finish up the pictures once the scaffolding was gone.
Chelsea and Riker are such an adorable couple! They make each other laugh and smile so easily. We went to the amphitheater below the temple for family pictures and we took some couple shots down there too. We still took shots on the temple grounds, but no whole temple or spire shots yet.
Later that evening, they held their reception at South Fork Park in Provo Canyon. I had never shot a reception at a park pavilion before, but Chelsea made it look wonderful. She made all the decorations herself and it looked great!
It was such a pleasure shooting Chelsea and Riker’s engagements, bridals and then the wedding. It has been amazing being their Utah wedding photographer. I wish them the best future!
